So what’s next after getting my overclocked gaming PC… To Wii or to PS3??
I have been constantly thinking if I should get a Wii or a PS3 or even BOTH! For sure I’ll be getting a PS3 for Tekken 6, Final Fantasy XIII and the PS3 Home ( It’s like an online Sims )… Xbox 360… Oh please! PASS! >:)
One think I like about Wii is its interactivity, especially the Wiimote ( I think that’s what its called ). I really like to try the Wii sports, especially bowling and golf! I need the exercise haha! Though the question is will my family enjoy it? Of course PS3 I will enjoy it the most, but the Wii.. will they be patient enough to learn? Well my youngest sister will enjoy it.. my mom… hmmm, dad… uhhh…. ( You get the idea… )
Now, I went to visit Super Smash Bro. website and I was very hesitant at first if I should buy Wii for this. Now… they included Sonic into the lineup, I’m even more interested in buying the Wii this christmas!! Current cost.. more or less 18k X_x
Update: OMG! Just found out it now costs 21k!!! SH*T!!

WordPress 2.3 has been released over a week already and I’m still doubtful if I should upgrade now or wait until the bugs and problems subside. Though I’m tempted to update the other sites I’m managing to 2.3, other than my blog, and see what happens. hehe *evil grin*
Anyway… feeling adventurous, (me?? adventurous!? O.o!? ), I took an old wordpress 2.2.3 test site here in the office and upgraded it to wordpress 2.3 using the Subtle theme I used in my live blog. So far so good… copy and paste folders and files via winSCP, making sure not to overwrite the wp-config.php. Now to install each plugin I used… 30 mins and so far no problems…
Let’s see if SBM works… *ACCKKK! I can’t add sidebar widgets!*

Just got the video card I ordered and the wait was worth it! The thing is huge! It take two slots for just the card and the fan… yes, the fan! The heatsink and the fan takes a whole slot! And another thing… it also need its own power supply (two connections) connected to it… talk about a power hog. The whole thing weigh close to a pound or two. I know this will last me 3 – 5 years of use
Here are the specs…

GeForce 8800GTS 320MB DDR3
- PCI Express
- 320MB 320bit GDDR3
- Full DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 Support
- TRUE 128-bit floating point high dynamic-range(HDR) lighting
- Supports 2560×1600 resolution display!!
Below are pics I took when I opened the box. I also tried to compare the size of the video card to my PSP. At least this will let you have a size comparison.

Like I said.. this thing is HUGE!

PSP-SSH ( PlayStation Portable – Secure SHell ) will definitely be a useful tool when I’m away from my PC. Not only can I now connect to my dad’s office server away from my PC, its even cooler that I’m using my PSP to connect to it. +1 for the PSP Homebrew community and another reason for me to leave my laptop at home
Now if only I can get a IR keyboard. Yup, it has support for IR keyboard from palm to pocket PCs.

Homebrew application can be found here.
Now where do I get me one of those keyboards…
(11/19/07) Edit: New version 1.0.9.

* Support Intel Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo/Pentium D/Pentium 4 Processor
* Supports 1333/1066/800/533 MHz FSB
and 4!! 4 RJ-45 ports! ( ports for the network cable ) What am I gonna do with 4 ports?! O.o?!
and here’s a snippet from the site…
… four Gigabit LAN controllers, 10 SATA ports, 100% solid capacitors, and a unique wrap-around, passive, cooling apparatus strike you? And did we mention the board is based on NVIDIA’s nForce 680i SLI chipset and has three full length, PCI Express x16 slots for multi-GPU action?
Now… price… AT LEAST $300.00 T____T
